Science Research Council

Academic and scientific contributions are essential to the overall community efforts for building a strong stance against psychoactive substance abuse and behavioral addictions. Academic and collegial experience based on proven scientific data may ensure coherence and effectiveness of the institutional response to the addiction phenomenon. Thus, on August 10, 2021 the International Federation of Harm Reduction in Healthcare (IFHRH), as the non-governmental organization for reduction of economic, social, and medical risks of development of drug addictions and behavioral addictions, has formed the IFHRH Science Research Council to serve as a forum for discussions on harm reduction policies, strategies, projects, and programs.
